Sunflower String Art Workshop Kit – Material List

Tools

• Hammer – small/lightweight (easy to handle)

• Needle nose plier (optional, for pulling nails if needed)

• Scissors

• Pencil or chalk for marking

Base

• MDF Board – 10 × 12 inch or 12 × 12 inch

• Thickness: 6–8 mm (recommended)

Colors and Finish

• Fabric colors or acrylic colors

• Dark green (background)

• Light green (texture highlight)

• Orange (petals)

• Yellow (center)

• Clear varnish or Mod Podge (optional, for finishing)

• Paint brushes or sponge

Nails

• Steel nails or panel pins

• Size: 1 inch (ideal)

• Quantity: 120–180 pieces (depends on design density)

Strings / Threads

• Embroidery thread, cotton thread, or wool

• Orange shades (main petals)

• Yellow (center)

• Optional: dark orange for depth

Design and Accessories

• Printed sunflower template (same as the design outline)

• Masking tape or paper tape

• Sandpaper (for smoothing MDF edges)

• Hanging hook (optional)
